The Product Marketing Manager is the Sopheon Market expert that understands in depth the Accolade® suite and the value it provides. This position provides product line support for product strategy, sales readiness, channel support, and client communication. This position requires close interaction with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and Sopheon’s customer base. The ideal candidate will be evangelical and passionate about delivering sustained value through Sopheon’s Accolade product suite to the market. 

  • Drives strategic differentiation in the product definition and its value proposition to the market to bring distinct market value and success from Company's offerings:  
  • Identify gaps and trends collecting and conducting analysis of competitors  
  • Own win/loss deal process and insights from the analysis  
  • Manage competitive intelligence processes, including communicating the competitive analyses to internal stakeholders  
  • Create product/services positioning and value proposition through compelling “use cases and stories” that provide direction to our demo team and provide scripting of our sales presentations for Marketing to leverage. 
  • Provide sales enablement resources for internal training and communications:  
  • Product level value propositions and use cases  
  • Conduct prospect and customer webinars 
  • Review RFP responses and prospect quotes for correct and consistent product positioning and value propositions  
  • Produce and maintain a series of product level value propositions and use case videos  
  • Create and author, as a solutions expert, white papers and other content  
  • Contribute to Company's external market presence through industry blogs  
  • Integrate tightly with the Sales and Partner teams to provide winning strategies and hands-on support  
  • Provide Marketing with product level value propositions and use cases for messaging, promotions and content development  
  • Own the creation and updating of the Accolade value proposition offering to be represented in sales presentations and scripts  
  • Own ongoing market research and analysis to capture key market trends  
  • Own the creation of the Go To Market and Integrated Product Definition deliverables (Release Plan) used in process 
  • Participate in EMEA and North American Annual User Forums 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred but not required  
  • Minimum 5 years of product marketing/management or business consulting roles in enterprise software/SaaS 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills, including public speaking and group facilitation  
  • Ability to articulate complex value propositions via memorable, “sticky” messages to diverse, non-technical audiences, including C-level executives  
  • Experience working in an agile software development environment 
  • Proactive, flexible contributor who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environment  
  • Domain experience with new product development processes, product portfolio management, and producroadmapping are a plus 

Travel across North America, and occasional International travel, will be required.
